Active Fourier Transform Spectrometer
Equipment Accuracy:It is fitted with a dedicated broadband infrared light source. The emitted beam travels through the medium under test, and the receiver captures the transmitted light for interference spectroscopy and spectral inversion via Fourier transform. Quantitative analysis is performed based on the characteristic absorption of gas molecules. Unlike passive FTIR which relies on ambient thermal radiation, this device requires no temperature difference between the sample and the background.
